The 2019-20 NBA season is on indefinite hold as the league takes every precaution to keep fans, players and staff safe from the continued outbreak of the novel coronavirus, COVID-19.
The league announced the decision to indefinitely suspend the season after Wednesday’s game between the Utah Jazz and Oklahoma City Thunder was postponed moments before tip-off due to a positive test from a Utah player, later identified as center Rudy Gobert, Gordon’s former teammate with the Jazz. Several other games continued and concluded on Wednesday night, but by Thursday morning, the NBA had completely shut down the season.

The NBA is also endorsing the U.S. Government’s efforts to flatten the curve and slow the spread of the novel coronavirus by staying at home unless travel and activity is essential.
