The holiday season is a time for giving and for Gordon Hayward and the Boston Celtics, it’s also a time for giving back.

Gordon and several of his Celtics teammates and staff members, including Head Coach Brad Stevens, recently visited Boston Children’s Hospital to bring some good cheer, and some gifts, to kids who will be spending the holiday season in the hospital.

“Doing the hospital visits is amazing. It’s one of the best times of the year. And the fact that we get to come in see the children and see their smiles, it really puts a smile to my face and warms my heart,” Gordon said. “Being in the NBA and being part of the Boston Celtics, we have a responsibility to give back and to use our platform to try to help kids who are going through some tough times.”

The Celtics players spent one-on-one time with kids, played games, did crafts, and then joined them on stage to sing some Christmas Carols. Check out some of the sights and sounds from the team’s day of giving below.
