The schedule is out and the road is set as Gordon Hayward looks to lead the Utah Jazz to their first playoff berth in five years.

Utah starts off on the road against a Western Conference playoff team, the Portland Trail Blazers, on Oct. 25 at 8 p.m. MT. A few nights later, the Jazz return to Salt Lake City and to Vivint Smart Home Arena for their home opener against the Los Angeles Lakers.

November is highlighted by two meetings with one of the top teams in the NBA, the San Antonio Spurs, featuring an enticing head-to-head matchup between G-Time and Kawhi Leonard (Nov. 1 on the road, Nov. 4 at home). After that comes a five-game East Coast road trip, which brings an NBA TV meeting between the Jazz and the Philadelphia 76ers, Nov. 7 at 5 p.m. MT. Two more national televised games follow during Utah’s first full month: Thursday, Nov. 17 at home against the Chicago Bulls on TNT; and Tuesday, Nov. 29 at home against the Houston Rockets on NBA TV.

Utah Jazz v Minnesota Timberwolves

Four more nationally televised tilts follow in December—the Jazz are slated for 17 national TV games this year. Saturday, Dec. 3, the Jazz host NBA TV and the Denver Nuggets at 7 p.m. MT. Later comes a critical five-game homestand, where the Golden State Warriors, Oklahoma City Thunder and Dallas Mavericks all come to Salt Lake—the last of which will be televised on ESPN (Friday, Dec. 16 at 8:30 p.m. MT). Four days later, the Jazz head to Oracle Arena to square off once again with the Warriors (Tuesday, Dec. 20 at 8:30 p.m. MT on NBA TV). A week later, the Jazz are on NBA TV once again during a visit to the Staples Center against the Lakers (Tuesday, Dec. 27 at 8:30 p.m. MT).

After ringing in the New Year at home on Dec. 31 against the Phoenix Suns, the Jazz head east for a five-game road trip. Gordon will visit his old college coach from Butler University, Brad Stevens, when the Jazz take on his Boston Celtics. The Tuesday, Jan. 3 meeting will air on NBA TV at 5:30 p.m. PT. An interesting three-game stretch follows: a Jan. 8 NBA TV tilt at the Memphis Grizzlies, and Jan. 10, when LeBron James and the defending NBA champion Cleveland Cavaliers come to town. A few days later, the Jazz will be on ESPN, taking on the Detroit Pistons at 8:30 p.m. PT.

Golden State Warriors v Utah Jazz

Utah will be tested vehemently going into the All-Star break—and thus the final stretch toward the postseason—with three straight home games against the Celtics, Los Angeles Clippers and Trail Blazers. Out of the break comes three tough road tests at the Milwaukee Bucks, Washington Wizards and Thunder.

March brings nine road games, including a road meeting with LeBron and the Cavs on NBA TV (Thursday, Mar. 16 at 5 p.m. MT), as well as a homecoming for Gordon against the Indiana Pacers, not to mention a head-to-head battle with Paul George.

April’s six games won’t make it easy for the Jazz to capture a playoff bid and win seeding battles. Utah has two meetings with the San Antonio Spurs, two with the Portland Trail Blazers and one with the Warriors.
